A full refund in the original payment method is issued in such cases, without deducting any taxes or fees.
- Travelers with a Saver fare who cancel their flight after the 24-hour window will have to comply with the airline fare rules. In case of cancellation of Saver fares, the airline offers 50% travel credit equal to the original fare when the flight departure date is at least 14 days away. This includes the full taxes and charges.
- After the 24-hour window expiry, non-refundable ticket holders can request for credit certificate or credit deposit into their MY Wallet in case of flight cancellations. The airline will deduct any applicable charges when issuing the credit certificate or credit deposit.
- Passengers with refundable tickets who cancel their flight and want a refund can raise a request for the same by signing in to their account online via the website or mobile app. Or, they can contact the Contact Center airline staff to raise their refund request.
- Travelers with tickets that are not eligible for a refund or credit are advised to cancel their flights to make available their seat to other travelers.
- The airline takes up to 7 days to process refund requests in the original payment method.
- If Alaska Airlines denies boarding to ticketholders because of unavoidable circumstances, they become eligible for compensation or rebooking to the destination airport. If you do not avail the rebooking option, you will receive a full refund along with compensation.
