Involuntary Flight Rescheduling
Ø Avelo Airlines reserves the right to reschedule flights without prior information to the flyers. However, passengers are informed about the flight modifications by the airline authorities as soon as possible.
Ø In cases where the airline makes substantial changes, the traveler can choose not to fly as per the new schedule. Avelo Airlines will issue a full refund to the passengers in such cases.
Ø If the airline cannot operate the flight as per schedule due to unfortunate circumstances, flyers have the right to alternative transportation as scheduled by the airline to reach their destination. If you do not avail this option, you can raise a refund request or avail compensation from the airline.
Ø If Avelo Airlines diverts a flight due to certain circumstances, the airline will take all measures to ensure the traveler reaches their destination and provide accommodation at the diversion city. If the airline cannot provide onward transportation from the diversion city, you become eligible for a full refund.
Ø The airline processes refunds in the original payment method to the eligible beneficiaries.
Voluntary Flight Rescheduling
Ø If a passenger cannot board their Avelo Airlines flight, they have the option of changing/canceling their reservation until 15 minutes before flight departure.
Ø The airline does not charge a penalty or a flight change fee to AveloFlex passengers if they want to change their flight reservation up to 15 minutes before scheduled departure.
Ø In case you want to reschedule your flight, you have to pay the fare difference if the new fare price is higher than the original fare price. If the new fare cost is cheaper than the original fare cost, the airline will add the remainder amount to the passenger’s Avelo Travel Funds, which is redeemable when they want to book flights in the future with the airline. The Avelo Travel funds are valid for 1 year. If you do not redeem the funds within that time frame, the airline has the right to forfeit them.
Ø If you do not have AveloFlex and you want to reschedule your flight, you become liable to pay the applicable fees as per the airline policy.
Ø The airline does not allow ticket holders to change their flight reservations within 15 minutes of flight departure time.
Ø You can change your Avelo Airlines flight via the Manage Booking portal on the official web portal of the airline. Simply sign in with your login credentials and access the flight you want to change and follow the system prompts. You are required to pay any applicable charges to confirm your new booking.Ø Flyers who request a flight change offline via the Avelo Airlines Contact Center have to pay a $25 fee to do so.
